Hero classes

The playable character archetypes that each hero falls under
Genesis Collection hero classes
The Heroes of Geoda come from 4 different classes, each from the 4 clans of Geoda. Each have their own play style and in-game strategy for you to learn and master.
Hero class
Description
Ronin
The tank. Tough, strong, and happy to trade blows toe-to-toe with any enemies that they encounter.
Ninja
The masters of speed and stealth. Dealing a flurry of attacks to finish off their opponents as soon as possible. The poison helps...
Sohei
The warrior-monk - Cross between warrior and mage. Martial arts experts and specialists with the Naginata, they can also use blessings to help them.
Worlokk
The mage. A glass-cannon who won't want to get into the thick of things, but can mix it up with defensive and offensive spells.
Players can also choose to play Oni's Quest in the 'free-to-play' mode if they do not own any of the Genesis Collection heroes. In this case, they will play as 'Adventurers' where their starting deck and the cards they can unlock in each playthrough is drawn randomly from across all of the 4 hero classes. Adventurers will also become 'Fatigued' more easily (i.e. less daily playthrough attempts) than Genesis Collection heroes.
What do Hero classes affect? The entire player experience will change to reflect the Hero they use each playthrough. From the items you can equip to the decks you can build and so much more, each class offers a novel way to experience Oni's Quest through an entirely fresh pair of eyes!

Hero Powers

Some of the Genesis collection possess special traits called Hero Power. If your hero is fortunate enough to posses one of these powers, then they gain an additional card in their starting deck , giving them access to an exclusive ability!
Hero Powers are unique to each class, complimenting the strategies and play-styles of each Hero.
Hero Powers also come in two tiers, Novice and Elite. Novice powers are more common, while Elite ones are rarer and provide more powerful cards during gameplay.
