# Shrines

Shrines can be found on the Region Map as you progress each region. These are strategic opportunities to either recover or level up...&#x20;

Shrines give the player a choice between two decisions:

**Rest**\
Heal for a portion of your maximum health.

**Train**\
Choose one card in your deck to upgrade for the rest of the playthough.

Reflect on your current status, weigh the risks of the road ahead, and make a choice that could lead to victory or defeat in the long road ahead!
